Hi everyone,
It’s been a meaningful stretch at Uncharted. Between continued growth in our community and national recognition like Adaptive Sport Day, I’ve been reminded how important it is to create spaces where everyone has access to fitness and the opportunity to challenge themselves.
We’ve also welcomed several new athletes recently, and it’s been great to see the community continue to grow.
Athlete Spotlight
This month, I asked one of our athletes, Melissa, to share a little about their experience at Uncharted:

“I went to the gym pre-injury and really enjoyed it. I wanted to be back in the gym after my injury, to maintain the parts of me that still work. And access to physical therapy is very limited.”
“One thing I’ve done that I didn’t think I could before is pull-ups, benching 45 lbs, and rolling laps around the building in my manual wheelchair.” “My favorite part of training? BlazePods!! And sled pulls.” “To anyone who’s nervous about getting started — you’ve gotta start somewhere. Uncharted is the best place — there’s nothing better.”
Looking Ahead
I’ll be sharing more soon about a small group summer program for kids. If you or someone you know might be interested, keep an eye out for a separate email with details.
There’s also still time to sign up for the Sensory Fitness Coach Certification course — reach out if you’d like more information.
Stay Connected
If you ever have questions about sessions, schedules, or anything Uncharted-related, you can always call, text, or email me. Know someone who might enjoy this community? Feel free to forward this along.
Thanks for being part of Uncharted!
